Vacation in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, May 2002

LAS VEGAS, Nevada

Las Vegas in Nevada is a true testament to American entrepreneurship, adventure and ability to conjure marvellous experiences like no other country. I never cease to be fascinated by the spectacular illusions that have been brought to life in the middle of this desert that attracts millions of people from all over the world. Although not a gambling person, I have an incredible time in Vegas taking in some of the most incredible shows offered with my family, ranging from the mesmerizing experiences from Cirque Du Doleil and the magic of the inimitable David Copperfield to my favorite Diva and fellow Canadian, Celine Dion.

THE GRAND CANYON, Arizona

While we are "water people" and tend to like beaches and sea-side getaways, we were simply overwhelmed by the majesty and the rugged grandeur of the Grand Canyon. Here is our tribute to this incredible work of art by Mother Nature. Also interesting were the native Indian art by the Navajo and other American Indian tribes who have inhabited this area since the birth of this great nation.
