Since Sanchita and Uma were away in India, I decided to take some time off on the 4th of July weekend to check out the beautiful Mediterranean like town of Carmel-by-the-Sea on the Pacific Coast of California, around an hour away from San Francisco.
I was hardly disappointed - Carmel was a delightful little town with some of the friendliest people on the face of the Earth! This was exactly the ambiance I needed, to taste some incredible Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by awesome local wines, introspect and write some poetry, to rejuvenate my body, mind and spirit!
